a2. First, you need an account on outputthis.org. After registering, go to the 'add a new target' page. Enter the following information:
- The name of your weblog (this is so you can identify it later when posting).
- - The XML-RPC URL. For Wordpress, this is the URL of your blog plus xmlrpc.php, e.g. if your blog is at http://foobar.wordpress.com/, your XML-RPC URL is http://foobar.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php.
- - The API supported. Most modern blogging tools support the MetaWeblog API.
- - Your login name and API password. This is usually the login name and password you use to log in to your blogging tool.
- - Your weblog ID. For Wordpress, this is always 1. For Movable Type, each blog will have a different ID and you will have to check on your site.
